Hello! My name is Melinda and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist (R.D.H). I started my position at Bauer and Howard Dental Care in December of 1997. I've been so happy and confident in the level of dental care I can provide for you when you come to get your teeth cleaned. I have the capability of using instruments, such as an Ultrasonic Scaler, that makes your visit easier and more relaxing. When our schedule is extra busy the Drs. provide me with a hygiene assistant that can help me provide you with the same high quality of dental care you're used to. I hope when you leave your hygiene appointment with me your teeth feel smooth and clean-some say there's no better feeling!

My husband, Chris works at NPPD in Doniphan and we have 4 children: Betsy, Colby, John and Dylan. They are slowly, (but surely!!) heading off to college, at least the first two! I have a ways to go with John and Dylan still being in the Doniphan school system. When I’m not attending one of their school or church activities, I love riding my Harley and starting new landscaping projects.

Hi! I'm your Office Coordinator, Patty. I've been employed at Bauer and Howard Dental Care since January of 1987, which is "a very long time." You know it has to be good to stay that long! It's been very rewarding working here, because I've been able to learn so much about computers, web sites and "good" dental care. It's reassuring knowing patients leave our office with quality dental care and beautiful new smiles. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions or concerns.

I've been married to my husband, Brian since 1984 and we have 3 sons. Yes, "My Three Sons" are: Creighton ‘86, Elliot ‘88 and Chase ‘92. When I'm not "shooting hoops," or "kicking the football," I enjoy jogging, biking, a good book and “thinking” about learning the game of golf!!

Hi! I'm your Coordinating Dental Assistant, Jenny. My goal is to maintain a timely and consistent level of patient flow throughout the office, in other words, "keep the doctors running on time!" I will always try to ensure that each patient is treated like family by our dental team. I've been employed with Bauer and Howard Dental Care since 1991.

I've been married to my husband, Dave, since 1993 and we have 3 children: Abbey, Nick and Alexa. Even though our busy lives center around the kids' activities, I do enjoy spending time in my garden, playing the piano, water-skiing and a competitive game of volleyball.

Hello, I’m your Registered Dental Hygienist, Janelle. My goal is to show you how to achieve and maintain good oral health habits. I will always strive to make getting your teeth cleaned a positive experience. In fact, with the use of our intra-oral cameras we can view your teeth on a TV monitor. Dental technology has come so far in the last few years and we make every effort to provide our patients with things like digital X-rays and laser perio treatments to make your hygiene visits as painless and comfortable as possible.

My husband, Wayne and I have been married since 1987 and we have two daughters, Megan and Kaitlyn. It’s interesting having only girls to fuss over, just ask my husband! They are involved in every school and church activity there is and even though I wouldn’t have it any other way, it does mean that their life is my life! In the summer we spend a lot of time with our friends and family.

Hello! I’m Vicki, the Business Coordinator at Bauer and Howard Dental Care. My goal is to make sure all aspects of accounting balance on a daily, monthly and yearly basis. I pay the bills and write the checks! I am also the office’s computer geek “wanna be.” It’s sometimes a good thing and sometimes a trying thing with all the software updates and hardware jams. All in all, it’s a challenging, yet fun, productive job. I have been employed with Bauer and Howard Dental Care since 1993.

My husband, Mike, and I have two children, Lindsey and Josh. Lindsey will be getting married in August of 2008, so we’ve had fun making wedding plans! Josh is very active in basketball and golf. His goal is to make a golfer out of his mom and since dad works at a golf course it seems like a no-brainer, but we’ll see… I do enjoy an occasional swing of the sticks, but when I do have free time I like to spend it remodeling my house. Painting, sewing and staining, oh my!

Hello, I'm Kristy and I've been Dr. Howard's Dental Assistant since 1996. Some think Dr. Howard and I are related ...... well I'll let you decide. It is great working in an office that trains so specifically on sterilization of instruments and disinfecting of the dental treatment rooms. My job is never dull because of the variety in assisting procedures on adults and children who need fillings and crowns, extraction's and dentures, endodontics and orthodontics. Then there's always bleaching, patient education, x-rays, and lab work. My goal is to make your dental experience as enjoyable for you as it is for me to work here!

My husband, Chris, and I have been married since 1996. Chris has been in the National Guards since 1994 and has been deployed to Bosnia. He keeps busy with classes and is currently a staff sergeant with the Lincoln Unit and is in charge of the Maintenance Department.

We have 3 children: 2 boys, Hayden and Danton, and a daughter, Alexis. The boys are becoming very involved in outside activites, so when Chris is gone for the guards, my days are pretty consumed! We treasure our family time and spend hours together fishing, camping and going to the car races. Vrooooom!!

Hello, I’m your Appointment Coordinator, Beth. I’m usually the first person you’ll see when you walk in our office. My goal is not only to greet you with a smile and a cup of coffee but also to conveniently schedule any future dental appointments you may need. I’ve been employed with Bauer and Howard Dental Care since December of 2006.

My husband, Steve and I have been married since 1993 and we have four children, Mariah, Keller, Sawyer and Savannah. My husband owns a Lawn Care Service in Campbell, which is where we live. Much of my time is spent in the car considering I live in Campbell, work in Hastings and the kids go to school in Minden! There’s never a dull moment, but when I do have an extra second I spend my time decorating cakes and cookies for special occasions. In the warmer months, my husband, the kids and I love to spend family time camping and boating.

Hello! I’m Jodi, the Financial Coordinator at Bauer and Howard Dental Care. My goal is to make sure you are informed about your dental treatment fees and payment options. I want you to be able to leave our office knowing exactly what your treatment will cost and how it will be paid. I am also in charge of dental insurance. It is important to me that you receive the maximum benefit your dental insurance company has to offer so if you ever have any questions about your insurance please feel free to ask me. I’ve been employed with Bauer and Howard Dental Care since June of 2007.

My husband, Eric and I are Hastings natives and have been married since 1997. Eric works for Witt Plumbing and is an avid hunter. We have one daughter, Jordan, who loves riding horses and playing softball. My passion is also riding horses so I spend as much time riding my horse, Chance, as I can. To complete our family we have two dogs, Macy and Moose.

Hi! I’m Ashley and I am one of Dr. Bauer’s Dental Assistants. I work for him at both his Hastings and Doniphan locations. My goal is to make you as comfortable as possible in the dental chair while you are receiving dental treatment from Dr. Bauer. I also sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care. There’s always something to keep me busy weather it’s lab work, processing x-rays or just keeping the patients company while Dr. Bauer is checking a hygiene patient. Greeting the old and meeting the new is one of the best things I have to do!

My husband, Brad and I have been married since June of 2007. We enjoy fixing up our house, going for walks and bike rides, playing basketball and spending time outside with family and friends.

Hi! I’m Amber and I am one of Dr. Bauer’s Dental Assistants. I have been with Dr. Bauer since January of 2004. I have a variety of job duties from processing x-rays, preparing materials for impressions, sterilizing and disinfecting instruments to instructing patients on general oral dental care. I love working here and make it a goal of mine to make sure all of our patients have a positive experience, both at the Hastings and Doniphan locations.

I’m not married, but have twin boys, Seth and Lukaas that were born in 2000. I enjoy spending as much time with them as I can. I also enjoy the arts, so in my spare time I like to sketch and paint pictures. Music has always been a passion of mine, so I’m also learning to play the electric guitar.

Hello! I’m Michele and I am the Office Coordinator at Doniphan Dental Services. I have been at Doniphan Dental Services since it opened in 2005. It is my goal to keep the front desk organized and all patients happy and smiling! Always remember that I am here to answer any scheduling, insurance, or financial questions you may have to ensure a pleasant experience during your visit to our office.

My husband, Milan and I have been married since 1987 and we have 2 children, Breann (Dec 1995) and Zane (June 1994). They all keep me very busy managing our lives. When I’m not chauffeuring the kids to school, sports or other activities, I enjoy competitive volleyball, golfing and working out.

Hi, I’m Mechele and I am your Registered Dental Hygienist at Doniphan Dental Services. I am a 1994 graduate of the Dental Assisting Program at Central Community College in Hastings and a 2005 Dental Hygiene graduate from Northcentral Technical College in Wausau, WI. For the past 13 years I have been working in different areas of the dental office and have found being a hygienist is what I love most. My mission is to educate my patients on their oral health and to provide excellent preventive care. I also strive to make sure their visit with me is always positive and enjoyable.

I moved back to Hastings 2 years ago with my fiancé, Michael, and my two children Jordyn (May 1992) and Brendan (March 2000). Both my children are very involved in their school and in sports. I spend most of my time driving them to and from their events and sitting in the stands rooting them on.

I have worked at Doniphan Dental Services since it opened in 2005 and have really enjoyed meeting and working with my patients there. I am definitely looking forward to working there for years to come.
